When to Visit Block Island
Each season on Block Island offers something unique. Summer (July & August) is ideal for beach lovers and nightlife seekers, with warm weather and a lively Island vibe. Spring and fall provide a more serene experience with mild temperatures and fewer crowds, perfect for those who appreciate nature’s beauty and want to spend time outdoors, but not necessarily sun bathing. Psst… September is our favorite month! Even winter is a cozy retreat, perfect for those looking to escape and unwind in one of our Block Island rentals, enjoying the peace and serenity that envelops the Island in the “off-season”.
Getting to Block Island
Accessing Block Island is easy! You can take a ferry or hop on a small plane. Ferries, including high-speed and traditional options, depart from Point Judith, Newport, and New London. Flights depart from Westerly, Rhode Island, unless chartered from another location. Leave your car behind—once on the Island, biking and walking are the best ways to explore. Some of our Block Island rentals are conveniently located, just steps away from the ferry dock, making it easy to start your adventure the moment you arrive. For farther locations, taxis are very easy to use to get anywhere you want to go!
Where to Stay
For the ultimate Block Island experience, our Block Island rentals offer everything you need for a luxurious and stress-free stay.
